The much-awaited Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand is set to take place today in Dubai. The encounter that promises to be thrilling will kick off at 2 PM Pakistani time at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
So far India has remained unbeatable in the tournament, however New Zealand has a brilliant record in the Champions Trophy matches against India.
Both teams seem to be in exceptional form, and are likely to bring their best in today’s match as well. India has won two Champions Trophy tournaments, in 2002 and 2013.
However, the 2002 contest brought India and Sri Lanka as ‘joint winners’ as rain washed out the contest twice. So technically, the fight and won title for India remains only that of 2013.
If New Zealand wins today, this will be their second Champions Trophy title. The last time they bagged this tournament’s trophy was in 2000, and that too, was against India.
