Indian extremists have declared the Indian Foreign Secretary a traitor for announcing a ceasefire with Pakistan, as reported by national media.
According to details, extremists who support war have declared Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri a traitor for announcing a ceasefire with Pakistan. A report states that after the ceasefire announcement, Vikram Misri and his family have received threats, following which Misri has locked his social media account.
Meanwhile, Indian politicians, foreign diplomats, and the Indian Administrative Service Association have expressed solidarity with Vikram Misri and termed the unwarranted personal attacks on civil servants fulfilling their professional duties as regrettable.
On the other hand, the spokesperson for the Pakistan Army stated that Pakistan did not request a ceasefire from India and that any aggression would be responded to. Strict adherence to the ceasefire is being maintained along the Line of Control.
The DG ISPR said Pakistan’s response to India has been appropriate and that the government’s position on the Indus Waters Treaty is clear. Kashmir remains the core dispute between Pakistan and India.
