CDA Sports Wing’s employees file case against illegal transfer

ISLAMABAD: Employees of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sports and Culture Wing have filed a case to the National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) against the illegal transfer to various directorates against the transfer to NIRC.

Earlier, City’s Mayor Sheikh Ansar Aziz illegally transferred 60 employees of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sports and Culture Wing to different departments.

According to details, the employees were transferred to Sanitation MP Workshop and Water Board Department. In this regard, the players and artists had staged a protest.

The employees said, “We are sportsmen, we know nothing but sports.” The victims further said that the power struggle between the CDA Chairman and Mayor Islamabad has affected them.

Speaking to MM News, Chaudhry Yasin, General Secretary of CDA Trade Union revealed, “There is a conspiracy going on against CDA Sports and Cultural Wing. I think Mayor Islamabad has been misguided.”

Chaudhry Yasin clarified that the employees were recruited as a sportsman and now they were forced to work in different wings.

The General Secretary further informed that he had raised the voice against the illegal decision at every platform, however, no such actions were taken. “Today, I have filed a case to National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) and I hoped that the district administration will take back the illegal decision,” he added.
