LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz and other leaders have been booked for violating coronavirus SOPs during rallies in Lahore ahead of the 13th December rally.
PML-N workers and leaders in Ichhra, Gawalmandi, and Lohari police stations have been named in separate cases. The lawsuits include provisions for violating SOPs and making provocative speeches.

Earlier, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz had led a rally from Gajumata to Data Darbar on 10th December. Addressing the participants, Maryam Nawaz had said that the PML-N assembly members had arrived to submit their resignations even though the party had not formally asked them to do so.
She also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan, who had vowed not to give NRO to the opposition, had been begging for NRO for the last two days.
