ISLAMABAD: The economic situation of the country has been reviewed in the meeting presided over by the Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, in which the economic situation of the country was reviewed.
The finance secretary and the economic team briefed the caretaker finance minister on the country’s economic situation. In the meeting, the caretaker finance minister was apprised of the trend of important economic indicators, after which the caretaker finance minister expressed his determination to work to ensure economic discipline and remove economic inequality.

Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar said that efforts will be intensified to promote investment. It should be remembered that the caretaker federal cabinet took the oath of office yesterday, President Dr. Arif Alvi took the oath of office from the caretaker federal cabinet.
