Careem has launched a new “later booking” feature, allowing users to schedule their rides in advance. Customers can book a ride at least two hours ahead of time, ensuring a reliable vehicle is available when needed, even during connectivity issues.
This feature is particularly popular among students, office workers, and for airport transfers and events. To schedule a ride, users simply open the Careem app, select their desired ride type, and choose the preferred time from the “NOW” dropdown menu.
The system includes several checks to guarantee a smooth and timely journey, such as contacting the assigned driver to confirm their readiness, providing a 15-minute waiting period upon arrival, and ensuring access to high-quality vehicles.
Moreover, Careem offers a “Premium 5 & 10” service that enables customers to book rides for longer durations, such as five hours or a full day of ten hours. This service is especially beneficial for events like weddings or long-distance travel, providing guests with convenient transportation over an extended period.
