LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that spectators cannot remain silent after witnessing the devastation of Punjab.
Talking to media in Lahore today, Ahsan Iqbal said that the PML-N cannot be a silent spectator on the destruction of Punjab. The time has come to start the ‘Save Punjab’ campaign.
“We have to focus on the health sector,” the former interior minister said. Medical personnel working on the front line performed excellent services during the coronavirus epidemic. There is still a risk of the virus outbreaks, he added.

Iqbal said that the health system was facing the worst crisis today due to the collapse of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. He added that the basic problems of doctors are being ignored. “The information I received from doctors today is alarming,” he further added.
He said that all the countries including the USA, Russia, Europe looked helpless in front of the deadly coronavirus. “The law enacted in Punjab is being used to privatize the health department. The concerns raised by the Young Doctors Association are justified,” he maintained.
He further added that the government has ignored basic issues of medical staff working on the front line against novel coronavirus.
