ISLAMABAD: The students of Cambridge school protested today (Monday) against the administration’s decision to conduct an examination within a month, demanding promotion similar to other classes.
According to details, after the six-month break due to the novel coronavirus, students gathered outside the National Press Club expressing dissatisfaction with the quality of online teaching.
The students were of the opinion that there was no teaching in the online classes, rather the teachers only asked students to submit assignments. “On what basis was the varsity then conducting these examinations,” they asked.
Students from Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan said that there was no internet facility in their area and they did not prepare for the exams. They further demanded to be promoted to the next semester like other classes.
“The purpose and demand of our protest are that the administration should be lenient with us and to promote us to the next classes,” they added.
