LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has termed the Punjab cabinet’s decision against his brother Nawaz Sharif as political revenge.
The statement of Shehbaz Sharif came after when the Punjab Cabinet earlier today denied further extending Nawaz Sharif’s bail on medical grounds.
The PML-N president said that he would approach the court in this regard. It was the aim of the incumbent government against us, he added.
The provincial ministers had disagreed extending Nawaz Sharif’s bail as he failed to submit the medical reports he was asked to present earlier.
According to the cabinet, the board had not received any satisfactory reply from Nawaz Sharif despite since December 2019.
The committee also pointed out Nawaz Sharif has not been admitted to any hospital in London since he had left Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif who is currently staying in London on medical grounds since November last year. He was granted bail by the Lahore High Court for 14 days.
