MULTAN: The brother of a well-known psychologist who committed suicide after allegedly killing his own daughter a few days ago has been found dead in his house.
According to Rescue 1122, a burnt body of a man identified as Dr. Mohib Saleem was found in his house in Sakhi Sultan Colony. His brother Ashraf Zia said that Dr. Mohib was alone in the house and the neighbours heard the sound of an explosion in the house and informed the police.
Police have gathered evidence from the house and initiated legal action. Police said that the death of Dr. Saleem might be accidental, however, the matter is being investigated from all angles. Police also maintained that whether Dr. Mohib’s death was a suicide or an accident, it would be confirmed after an autopsy. Police have registered a report of the incident on the complaint of Dr. Mohib’s wife.

According to the text of the report, Dr. Mohib’s wife has said that the husband had gone to Sakhi Sultan Colony at 3:45 am. His wife said that the neighbour said on the phone that a smell of burning was coming from their house. When she reached home, she saw the burnt body of her husband Saleem Mohib in the kitchen.
According to the report, she also said that her husband had coronavirus and he was discharged from the hospital three days ago. Dr. Mohib Saleem is the brother of renowned psychiatrist Dr. Azhar Hussain allegedly killed his daughter, Dr. Aliza Haider, over a domestic dispute and later on ended his life with the same weapon at his residence in Justice Hameed colony.
