Police have arrested Zubair Baloch, the brother of notorious gangster Uzair Jaan Baloch, during an operation in Lyari and recovered narcotics from his possession.
According to Chakiwara Police, the operation was conducted on Mirza Adam Khan Road in the Lyari area. During the operation, the suspect Zubair Baloch, brother of gang war leader Uzair Baloch, was apprehended. Authorities recovered 85 grams of crystal meth from his possession.
Police said that Zubair Baloch is involved in drug trafficking. He was recently released from prison and had resumed selling narcotics. Zubair Baloch is the brother of Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch. A case has been registered against him at the Chakiwara Police Station.
It is worth mentioning that Uzair Baloch is infamous for his role as the leader of the Lyari gang war. He was arrested by Rangers in 2016 and is facing numerous cases including charges of murder, attempted murder, extortion, and kidnapping for ransom.
However, the former leader of the Lyari’s People’s Aman Committee, has recently been acquitted in multiple cases.
