Unverified reports from Telegram channels like Baza suggest possible sabotage, citing explosions, but no official confirmation has been provided. According to officials, rescue operations are ongoing, with approximately 180 emergency personnel deployed to extract trapped passengers and provide medical aid.
All injured were transported to medical facilities in Bryansk, and surviving passengers were evacuated to a nearby station to continue their journey on a reserve train.
