ISLAMABAD: Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa has said the government has approved the establishment of eighteen border markets.
In a tweet, he said under a pilot project, two border markets will be established in Mand and Gabd areas of Balochistan and one in Shaheedano Dand in Kurram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bajwa said the focus of Prime Minister Imran Khan is the integration of neglected areas and these markets will transform local economies, check smuggling, and formalise trade with neighbours.
