Rumors about Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan being injured on the set of the film King turned out to be false. The Bollywood King is not going to the U.S. for treatment and rest, but rather for a routine medical check-up.
Two days ago, reports emerged regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s health, claiming that the actor had an accident on the set of the film King and suffered a back injury, which caused concern among his fans.
Media reports had claimed that Shah Rukh Khan was injured during the shooting of director Siddharth Anand’s film King, after which he left for the U.S. and was expected to soon move to the U.K. for treatment and rest.
However, Indian media outlet NDTV, citing sources close to the actor, reported that these were merely rumors with no truth to them.
According to the report, a close source clarified that although Shah Rukh Khan has sustained injuries during the shooting of various films in the past—effects of which occasionally surface—nothing of that sort happened this time.
The report further stated, quoting sources, that Shah Rukh Khan regularly travels to the U.S. for routine check-ups and physiotherapy. He left for the U.S. in the second week of July and is expected to return by the end of the month.
