Singer Abrar-ul-Haq, who has accused Karan Johar of stealing his song ‘Nach Punjaban’ for his movie ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, slammed Bollywood that the industry has good writers but they failed in music.
The Nach Punjaban singer ranted that he was told by someone that his song has been stolen, however, he has not sold his song. “It’s my fourth or fifth song, copied by Bollywood,” he said.
According to Haq, Bollywood makes movies worth billions of rupees, and astonishingly they don’t have their own content for those movies. For Haq, Bollywood has no content, no creativity, yes, they have good writers but they are failed in music.

“A good music piece like Billo changes life and stealing a song is the biggest crime,” he said. Haq further added that he could give the song to them but they have sung it so bad, that one puts effort into singing, they did not even do that.
“I do not want to give my song this way, I will give away if I would want, I will ask my people,” Haq made it clear. Haq revealed that he has hired a lawyers’ team, it’s a digital world and it is a game of revenue and they still believe in copying.
