Rangers and CTD police conducted a successful joint operation based on intelligence information in Karachi and arrested Abdul Rehman, a terrorist of the banned organization Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), media reported on Saturday, while quoting Rangers spokesperson.
As per the reports, arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the accused Abdul Rehman alias Abdullah alias Charlie, who was arrested from the Maripur area. The accused is a resident of 500 quarters of Maripur and joined the banned organization in 2022.
According to the spokesperson, the accused Abdul Rehman had killed a citizen Aftab on the instructions of the banned organization’s leader Juma Khan. In addition, he was collecting data of law enforcement officials and providing it to Juma Khan.
The accused has been handed over to the relevant agencies for further investigation.
The Balochistan Liberation Front is an Afghanistan-based Baloch ethnonationalist Separatist group actively engaged in the Balochistan region of Southwestern Asia.
