Thakur Raja Singh has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons not only in India but in Pakistan as well after his harsh and derogatory remarks against Prophet (PBUH) drew backlash.
The lawmaker from the Hindu nationalist Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) angered many after making derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad, which sparked large protests in Hyderabad city in India’s southern Telangana state on Monday night.
Thakur Raja Singh was arrested a day after his blasphemous comments surfaced online and was later released by the Indian court as well.

- Thakur Raja Singh is an Indian politician who began his political career with the Telugu Desam Party and later joined the BJP.
- He is a former member of TDP Telugu Desam Party and later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was in the Bharatiya Janata Party until 23 August 2022.
- He was suspended by the party over his blasphemous remarks against Prophet (PBUH).
- Singh has been in stirred controversies over his anti-Muslim rhetoric, which includes calling Muslims traitors and calling for the shooting of Rohingya Muslims.
