Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has raised objections against an advertisement featuring Bollywood star Aamir Khan in which he has raised awareness against bursting crackers.
Aamir Khan has recently acted in an advertisement in which he is seen promoting a tyre. In the advertisement, he advised not to set off firecrackers on the streets and has warned not to firecrackers after winning the match.
“Shame is a soul eating emotion” rarely found in such people.

In this regard, BJP MP Anantkumar Hegde raised an objection against an advertisement raising awareness against bursting crackers on the streets. He has objected to a public advertisement on roadblocks, giving it a religious connotation, and has written a letter to the tyre company’s manager and CEO.

He addressed that ‘the problem blocking roads in the name of Namaz and noise emitted from mosques during Azan’. He had created unrest in the Hindu community.
The advertisement conveys the message that the road is blocked due to firecrackers, but another important issue is the blocking of the road by Muslims in the name of Friday prayers.
He has targeted Muslim actors of Bollywood, saying that a group of anti-Hindu heroes of Bollywood always hurt the feelings of Hindus and never talk about their community.
It may be recalled that this is not the first time that objections have been raised by extremist Hindus by giving religious undertone to advertisements.
