KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has urged the federal government to review its decision not to impose a lockdown all over Pakistan.
In a video statement today (Sunday), Bilawal Bhutto said that a delay would exacerbate the difficulties for the poor people of the society amid the coronavirus situation
Bilawal Bhutto said that coronavirus could only be defeated by unity, adding that it was important for people to stay home as the virus was spreading fast.
He termed the current situation of coronavirus as ‘war’ and said, “We need people’s help. We need media to help us. Strengthen our arms so we can help fight this disease.”
The PPP Chairman further appealed to the federal government to review its policy not to impose a lockdown across the country.
Referring to the prime minister’s earlier address, Bilawal Bhutto said that a delay would create more problems for the poor segment of the nation,
