KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday departed for a week-long visit to the United States (US).
During the visit, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is expected to hold meetings with the US leadership.
Before leaving for the United States, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had said that the performance of PPP in Sindh was better than all other provincial governments.He said that the attempt to extend tenure of the most controversial chairman of NAB is not acceptable.
The attempt to extend his tenure would justify our statement that NAB is a tool of Imran Khan’s government instead of acting as an impartial body.
PPP will strongly oppose illegal extension of NAB chairman’s tenure, cannot be extended by law.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PPP leader last month had paid a week-long visit to the United States (US).
The PPP chairman attended a press conference in the United States and met with important personalities in the US.
The PPP chairman also held meetings with the party office-bearers and delegations of workers during his week-long visit.
PPP leader Nabeel Gabol had said that the chairman PPP is not going to visit the United States to ask anyone, but he had been invited by the US senators to visit the country. He would go to the United States and fight the case of the Pakistani nation and the issue should not be politicized.
