LAHORE: Pakistani singer Bilal Saeed has finally apologized over the controversial mosque shoot, saying both he and Saba Qamar realise what has happened over the past few days has hurt your sentiments deeply.
Bilal Saeed took to Instagram and uploaded a lengthy apology. In the video, he clarified that the video neither shot with any sort of playback music nor has it been edited to the music track.
“We as Muslims, as decent human beings and as artists will never, ever trivialise or condone disrespect to Islam or any other religion, race, caste, colour or creed,” reads the caption.

The Pakistani singer further wrote, “If we have unknowingly hurt anyone’s sentiments we apologise to you all with all our heart. Please find the video below as a sincere apology from myself, Saba Qamar, and the rest of the team.”
Meanwhile, a manager of the Auqaf department has been suspended over allowing an illegal video shoot of the song a notification from the Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department said.
The accused is directed to appear before the director inquiry to respond to the allegations leveled against him.
In this regard, PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain while condemning the video shoot inside the mosque premises said, “Arrest those responsible for the act as soon as possible.”
