American supermodel Bella Hadid turned awful lot of heads at Paris fashion week with an unconventional appearance during Coperni Spring Summer 2023 collection fashion show when she stepped out onto the stage in nothing but a pair of white panties and had spray-painted live on her body.
Several videos and pictures from her catwalk adventure have emerged ever since on the internet.
At the center of the stage, Bella stood tall and still as a team of three technicians painted a white layer of latex on her bare body.
The 25-year-old extended her arms one by one as they applied the coat of paint, watching as their labor gradually morphed into a mid-length dress with a high-rise slit. Bella furiously sashayed down the runway flaunting her new custom-made outfit as soon as the piece of art was finished.

Fabrican, a sprayable fabric created in 2003 that hardens into clothing, was used to create the dress. The website of the business’s inventor, Manel Torres “conceived a fabric that would magically have the look of clothing and fit the body like a second skin. Years of study and testing led to the creation of Fabrican, a fabric that can be sprayed from an aerosol can.”
On TikTok, Bella’s runway performance has already gone viral. Some users have also drawn comparisons between it and the iconic Alexander McQueen Spring 1999 fashion presentation, in which Shalom Harlow spun while two robots sprayed her white garment in yellow and black with spray paint.
Following the performance, Bella posted several close-up pictures of the creation on Instagram, which received a ton of positive feedback from followers and other fashionistas. Observed Lori Harvey, AN ICON. THE MOMENT,” while Iris Law called the spray dress, “the best thing ever.”
