ISLAMABAD: The Bangladesh cricket team on Wednesday reached Islamabad to play Test series against Pakistan.
The two sides will contest two Test matches, one of them scheduled in Rawalpindi on Friday. The visiting team was welcomed by Pakistan Cricket Board officials on arrival at the airport. There were strict security arrangements at the airport at the time of the team’s arrival.

Reportedly, both teams will hold a practice session tomorrow in Pindi Stadium. Head Coach and Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Team, Misbah ul Haq, on Saturday announced a 16-player squad for the Test series against Bangladesh.
While addressing a presser in Lahore, Misbah announced the squad for 2-match Test series against Bangladesh to be played in Rawalpindi from 7-11 February.
Azhar Ali will lead the Green Shirts while Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Bilal Asif, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Haris Sohail, Imam-ul-Haq, Imran Khan Snr, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood and Yasir Shah will be the part of the series.
