Comedian turned actor Ahmed Ali Butt has criticised the proposal of the Ministry Of Religious Affairs of banning game shows during Ramzan transmission.
The Jawaani Phir Nahi Aani actor posted a story on Instagram and urged to ban fake news and religious mockeries on TV instead of games shows, which are a source of entertainment for the public.
“Ban the fake news, paid news anchors, propaganda, mockery of religion on TV, and the blow standard shows who spread fear and lies,” he posted.
He continued that we all know good quality game shows are a much-needed entertainment for the whole family, especially in Ramzan. “People like Fahad Mustafa have devoted entertainment for Pakistan,” he urged.
Butt also said that we Pakistanis should be proud of such shows. “Focus on the real problems ourt country is facing,” he maintained.
