Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) is gearing up for its most extensive Ramadan initiative yet, aiming to distribute over five million iftar meals to underprivileged communities nationwide.
According to a report by state broadcaster Radio Pakistan, PBM Managing Director Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt said that the campaign is focused on reaching “the most deserving and vulnerable segments of society.”
Utilizing PBM’s widespread district-level network, the initiative will ensure ready-to-eat meals are provided at key locations, including mosques, orphanages, women’s empowerment centers, schools, and other designated sites.
Moreover, a fleet of 33 mobile trucks will operate across various routes to deliver meals to remote and hard-to-reach areas.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched a Rs20 billion ($71.4 million) relief package just ahead of Ramadan 2025. The initiative aims to support four million families across Pakistan, each receiving Rs5,000 ($17.87) to help ease financial burdens during the holy month.
