In the case regarding the fake video of Punjab’s Information Minister Azma Bukhari, another suspect was arrested at the airport while attempting to flee abroad.
According to a report by media, sources from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) revealed that the suspect, Ali Hassan Toor, was arrested at Sialkot
Airport while trying to leave the country. FIA sources claimed that the suspect was responsible for creating and spreading the fake video of Azma Bukhari.
The FIA has seized the suspect’s mobile phone and other documents and has transferred him to their office for further investigation. It is worth noting that on November 20, the Lahore High Court rejected the bail of another suspect involved in the fake video case.
Azma Bukhari herself appeared before the court to pursue the case and stated that the suspect operated three social media accounts and shared the fake video through all of them. Justice Aliya Neelam remarked that people who spread fake videos like these ruin a woman’s reputation.
