Punjab’s Information Minister Azma Bukhari strongly responded to Senator Faisal Vawda’s remarks, calling him “mentally unwell” and referring to him as a “cheap version of Shahrukh Khan,” advising that he should seek medical treatment.
Her comments came after Senator Faisal Vawda likened Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to “Buzdar 2,” suggesting she displays arrogance as if the dollar has dropped to Rs200, petrol is at Rs150, and bread is available for Rs10 in the country.
Vawda also remarked that Maryam Nawaz had won by just 98 votes and claimed that if the ballot boxes were opened, she would not be in the Punjab Assembly but rather in the Raiwind Palace.
Responding to these remarks, Azma Bukhari said that Faisal Vawda should get his mental health evaluated.
She further stated that someone who isn’t even fit to become a local councillor has no right to criticize others, adding that “he is a mental case and a cheap Shahrukh Khan.”
She concluded by saying that although he is currently a senator, he has no political party of his own. “I do not wish to respond further to his statements. One can only feel pity for his condition,” she added.
