Aymen Saleem defends Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed over mehndi dance criticism

Pakistani actors Kubra Khan and Mirza Gohar Rasheed faced criticism for dancing at their mehndi ceremony. The couple’s wedding celebrations are ongoing, and they danced at their mehndi event, accompanied by other stars from the showbiz industry.

Videos of their dance went viral on social media, leading to criticism. In response, actress Aymen Saleem strongly defended them against the backlash.

In a social media story, Aymen wrote that unnecessary and moral policing happens every time, but everyone has the right to live life on their own terms.

She added that a well-known couple had their nikah in Makkah, kept it simple, and then celebrated their wedding as they wished—so what problem could anyone have with that? Why is it so difficult for people to be happy for others?

She further stated that no one can question another person’s sincerity or faith based on how they choose to celebrate their happiness. Faith is personal, celebration is personal—if you cannot find happiness within yourself, at least be happy for others and mind your own business.

It is worth mentioning that actors Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed had a simple nikah ceremony in Makkah and also performed Umrah.
