LAHORE: Medical and legal examination of Ayesha Akram and her accomplices, who were allegedly harassed by the mob of men at Minar-e-Pakistan on the occasion of Independence Day, has been completed.
According to Naibaat, Police have so far arrested more than 30 people in connection with the incident. Ayesha Akram asked the police not to take further action in the case. According to sources, the woman initially told the police that she did not want to take any action. The plaintiff is a resident of Qila Lachman Singh Ravi Road instead of Shahdara and is a nurse at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
Ayesha Akram’s duty is in PIC emergency but warning notices have been issued twice for using mobile during her duty. Besides, Ayesha Akram was employed as a nurse in Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital three years ago. There was an exchange in the PIC while several times there were quarrels with the relatives of the patients.
