Pakistani legendary singer Attaullah Khan Issa Khelvi’s daughter Laraib Atta has been nominated for Oscar and BAFTA Awards 2022.
The latest James Bond movie titled ‘No time To Die’, has received three nominations for the 94th Academy Awards, including ‘Best Original Song’, ‘Best Song’ and ‘Best Visual Effects’.
The film’s visual team also includes Laraib Atta, a young Pakistani artist who is the film’s digital composer. In addition, the team has been nominated for ‘Best Special Visual Effects’ in BAFTA 2022.

Speaking about her team’s Oscar and BAFTA Awards nominations, Laraib Atta said, “I would like to thank you for all the messages and support that led me to the Oscars and BAFTA nominations for ‘No Time To Die'”.
Atta added that it is an honour for him to work with a good team. He also thanked his mother and brother. The Oscars and BAFTA Awards will be held in March 2022.
Attaullah Khan Issa Khelvi, while reacting to his daughter’s nomination for Oscar, had said on social media that once again she has raised his name with pride. Hailing from Punjab, Laraib is the daughter of Attaullah Khan, a legendary singer of Pakistan.
She is one of the world’s young female VFX (visual effects) artists who has worked on several major Hollywood projects, including ‘Godzilla’, ‘X-Men’ and ‘Mission Impossible’s Fallout’ included.
