LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has said that the attack on Dr. Adnan was a strategy to create barriers in Nawaz Sharif’s treatment.
Personal physician of Nawaz Sharif, Dr. Adnan was earlier attacked today in London.
Shehbaz Sharif while condemning the attack said that the way of the attack had spoken that it was a pre-planned act.
Shehbaz expressed hope that the London police would investigate the matter and come to the conclusion soon.
Dr. Adnan was attacked in a park during his daily evening walk when he was attacked from behind by two unidentified men.
He was shifted to a hospital immediately. He had sustained injuries on the head, face, and chest. He was punched by the attackers on the floor and used a metal bar to attack him.
He had been receiving threat calls for a few weeks but he did not take it seriously. He had been staying in London since November last year with Nawaz Sharif. As the former premier was granted bail on medical grounds.
