LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has skipped hearing on Monday over personal issues the assets case.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned Rana Sanaullah and ordered him to bring complete documentation of lands and farm-house that he owned.
The NAB on 27th January decided to investigate the family of Sanaullah including his wife, daughter, and son-in-law in a case related to the same case.
The corruption watchdog will investigate Rana Sanaullah’s wife, daughter, and son-in-law while NAB will issue assets form to them. NAB also asked Rana Sanaullah about the three family members.
The PML-N stalwart was arrested on 1st July by the ANF when he was traveling from Faisalabad to Lahore. According to an ANF spokesperson, a large quantity of drugs was recovered from the PML-N leader’s car.
Sanaullah was later shifted to an unidentified place for further investigations, while his arrest by widely condemned by the PML-N and opposition parties. The ANF had submitted a charge-sheet in July in the case naming Rana Sanaullah and six other suspects.
