ISLAMABAD: An accountability court has extended the hearing of former finance minister Ishaq Dar in assets beyond income case till 12th February.
Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted the hearing where the former president of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Saeed Ahmed filed a plea for his exemption from personal appearance.
Ishaq Dar is facing charges of accumulating assets beyond known sources of income. He was booked by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in November 2019.
He left for London in November 2017 to seek medical treatment and did not return ever since. In June 2019, he applied for political asylum in the United Kingdom.
