ISLAMABAD: PML-N led coalition government has decided to deploy the army in Islamabad’s Red Zone to maintain the law-and-order situation during PTI’s long march.
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stated that no one would be permitted to enter into the Red Zone under any circumstances while speaking to a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday.

He warned PTI protesters, saying, “No compromise would be made on the security and safety of vital buildings in the Red Zone.”
“The government will also mobilize the army under Article 245 of the Constitution,” he said, adding that the government would allow PTI to march towards the federal capital only if it fulfilled the requirements.
He claimed that the PTI had requested permission to organize a demonstration and sit-in in Islamabad’s H-9 and G-9 sectors, and that the administration was currently examining the request.
Rana Sanaullah claimed that the press conference by the DGs of ISPR and ISI had further exposed PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Earlier, Imran Khan announced that his much-anticipated march on Islamabad would begin on Friday from Lahore.
