In a conversation outside the court, Armaghan, the accused in the Mustafa Amir murder case, said, “I am being framed.” He claimed that he fired at the police because they had come to his house with the intent of committing a robbery.
According to some reports, during this time, police recovered modern weapons from Armaghan’s house, yet he continued to speak defiantly instead of feeling ashamed. When the police raided the bungalow in Defence, 23-year-old Armaghan opened fire on them.

Five days later, during a meeting between Mustafa and Armaghan, their friendship turned into enmity, leading to Mustafa being tortured and set on fire in Hub (Balochistan).
