Hollywood filmmaker James Wan has revealed the name of his upcoming film “Aquaman 2” which features Jason Momoa.
As the film entered production, the new movie would be titled “The Lost Kingdom”, according to the maker. The movie features “Game of Thrones” star Jason Momoa as Aquaman while Amber Heard returns as Mera.
The sequel sees the return of Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, and Amber Heard as Mera. It’s still unclear if other characters from the first movie would also be appearing in the sequel like Nicole Kidman’s Atlanta, and Willem Dafoe’s Vulko.

“The Lost Kingdom “is a sequel to the original “Aquaman” which released in 2018 grossed more than $1 billion, making it the only DC movie to reach that number outside of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy.
In addition to Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Warners has a full roster of DC Film projects coming up, including The Suicide Squad (August 6), The Batman (March 4, 2022), The Flash (November 4, 2022), and Warners’ and New Line’s Black Adam (July 29, 2022) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (June 2, 2023).
