ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued a stern warning against anyone targeting minorities in Pakistan, saying that there will be dealt with strictly.
The prime minister issued a statement warned that minorities were equal citizens of the country, and anyone in Pakistan targeting non-Muslim citizens or their places of worship would be dealt with strictly.

The prime minister said the Nazi-inspired ideology of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has taken over a nuclear-armed state of more than a billion people.
He highlighted the on-going situation of India by saying, “Today in India we are seeing the Nazi-inspired RSS ideology take over a nuclear-armed state of over a billion people. Whenever a racist ideology based on hatred takes over, it leads to bloodshed.”

He reiterated that he had predicted the series of events in India during his appearance at the United Nations General Assembly session, where he said the violence will “get worse” against minorities in India.
He said that his prediction made during the UN General Assembly session came true, “As I had predicted in my address to UNGA the last year, once the genie is out of the bottle the bloodshed will get worse. IoK was the beginning. Now 200 million Muslims in India are being targeted. The world community must act now.”
The prime minister issued a warning and said minorities were equal citizens in Pakistan and vowed strict action against those who target the countries minority community.
At least 20 people have been killed and more than 200 injured in New Delhi during clashes between Hindutva mobs and activists protesting against the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act in India which discriminates against Muslims.
