Israeli soldiers brutally targeting unarmed Palestinians are beginning to suffer from mental illnesses; another Israeli soldier has ended his life.
According to foreign media reports, an Israeli soldier shot himself at home, committing suicide. In recent days, there has been a noticeable increase in suicides among Israeli soldiers. Reportedly, in July alone, four other individuals have committed suicide.
Since the start of Israel’s war in Gaza in October 2023, a total of 42 Israeli soldiers have ended their lives. The Israeli armed forces have also confirmed that due to psychological pressure, thousands of reservists have withdrawn from combat duty.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has martyred approximately 60,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, most of whom are women and children.
Medical experts believe that the human mind naturally resists cruelty because it goes against moral principles, and those who kill unarmed people are tormented by their conscience and eventually take their own lives.
