Another Indian actor Akshat Utkarsh commits suicide

MUMBAI: Another Indian actor Akshat Utkarsh has reportedly committed suicide and his body was found his rented apartment four months after Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai.

As per details, Indian media citing police reported that the 26-year-old Indian TV star from Bihar died by suicide. Akshat was found hanging at his rented apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri area two days back.

Indian media quoted police officials said that the actor was depressed due to lack of work, however, his family has rejected the claims.

Media further reported that Akshat was in a relationship with a woman namely Sneha Chauhan. The couple was living in Andheri West in Mumbai. Akshat’s suicide came four months after Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai.

Earlier, Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14.

Indian police had confirmed that Sushant committed suicide, as he was found hanging from the ceiling. The 34-year-old actor was living alone at his residence in Mumbai during the lockdown, according to police.

Indian media citing police said that Singh was suffering from depression for the past six months. Born in Bihar’s Purnea, Rajput’s family moved to Patna when he was young. Later, he came to Delhi to study engineering but left the course mid-way to work in the showbiz.

Ekta Kapoor gave him the first break in TV in the show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, and then the led role in Pavitra Rishta. Sushant started his career through television and then moved towards Bollywood. His recent hit film was MS Dhoni.
