LAHORE: A video of another woman being harassed the same day Ayesha Akram was attacked near Minar-e-Pakistan has gone viral on the internet.
According to the Siyasat website, another video that went viral on social media shows a woman along with her family and a child in her arms can be seen roaming in the Greater Iqbal Park.
In the video, it can be seen that some unidentified youths have surrounded the family and trying to harass them. Meanwhile, a girl in the family bravely tries to attack the boys with a national flag pole in her hand, resulting in the boys backing off from the family. After the attack on the girl, a security guard on the duty reached the spot and rescued the family. However, the boys who were harassing the family managed to escape from the spot.

It should be noted that TikToker named Ayesha Akram was harassed, beaten, and robbed by a mob of 400 people in broad daylight on the occasion of Independence Day at Minar-e-Pakistan’s Greater Iqbal Park, but no one came to save her. The incident took place on independence day, the place where Quaid-e-Azam delivered his historic speech in 1947.
Harassed and humiliated Ayesha Akram was tortured for three hours but no one came to rescue her, not even the police, she claimed. Ayesha Akram said that the people in the crowd were repeatedly grabbing and pulling her hair.
