Pakistan has confirmed another case of the novel coronavirus in Islamabad, bringing the total number of cases to 29.
Officials of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) have confirmed the news and said that the patient was a 30-year-old woman.
The officials said that the patient had a travel history of United States and has returned to Pakistan a few days ago.
The patient’s condition was critical and has been placed on the ventilator, the officials said, adding that the patient was brought to PIMS from a private hospital.
Number of confirmed cases in Pakistan has been increased to 29 and so far no death has been reported.
Karachi is the worst affected city of Pakistan and has reported 14 cases of coronavirus. While five cases have been reported from Gilgit Baltistan and one case has been reported in each Hyderabad and Quetta.
