ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Intelligence Wing on a tip-off recovered 18kg of heroin from a vehicle today (Sunday) in Islamabad.
According to details, the action was taken near Toll Plaza at Islamabad motorway. During the search of the vehicle packets of heroin concealed in the CNG cylinder were recovered.
The intelligence wing also arrested three persons, including in a woman, travelling in the vehicle. An ANF spokesperson informed that the arrested accused were selling narcotics in Lahore, Faisalabad and Sialkot.
Meanwhile, the ANF Lahore has also recovered a huge quantity of drugs, including alcohol during a raid on Lahore-Sialkot Motorway. According to details, the ANF recovered 38 kg of hashish, 24 kg of opium and alcohol from a black car.
The ANF team also arrested four persons, including two women during the operation. A case has been registered against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Act.
