Pakistani cricketers recalled the victory in the memorable final of the Champions Trophy in 2017 when the team defeated India.
Pakistan stunned defending champions by clinching the Champions Trophy by 180 runs at The Oval stadium in London. The match showcased spectacular performances by Fakhar Zaman and Muhammad Amir.
Fakhar Zaman scored a century at the grandest stage, reaching the milestone in the 30th over by playing a sweep shot off Ravichandran Ashwin. Fakhar, who had played only three ODIs till then, scored 114.
On Twitter, Muhammad Amir said that it was one of the best days of his life. Amir scored three wickets on the historic day including Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
