American investment firm ARK Invest has projected that Bitcoin could reach $1.5 million per coin by 2030 under its base-case scenario, with a potential surge to $2.4 million in a more optimistic outlook, according to its newly published “Big Ideas 2025” report.
Currently, Bitcoin is trading near $95,000, following a record high of approximately $108,000 achieved in December. Should ARK’s projections materialize, the cryptocurrency’s value would experience an increase of more than 1,400 percent from its present level.
The projections were derived from Bitcoin’s estimated penetration across several total addressable markets (TAMs), including institutional investment portfolios, the digital gold market, and its use as a safe-haven asset in emerging economies.

In supplementary modeling under more aggressive assumptions, ARK suggested that Bitcoin’s price could climb as high as $2.4 million, according to reporting by Cointelegraph. However, this figure represents a bull-case scenario and was not the central projection outlined in the “Big Ideas 2025” report.
“Institutional investment contributes the most to our bull case,” said ARK research analyst David Puell, noting that a 6.5 percent penetration into the estimated $200 trillion global financial assets market could significantly boost Bitcoin’s valuation.
