KARACHI: The multinational maritime exercise Aman organized by Pakistan Navy has begun and the exercises will continue till 16th February.
While addressing a function held at the commencement of Naval Exercise Aman, Naval Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi said that Pakistan Navy has taken several steps for maritime security. With the slogan of ‘Together for Peace’ AMAN-21 is being conducted on a biennial basis by the Pakistan Navy to project a soft image of Pakistan.
The exercise contributes towards regional peace and stability, resolve against terrorism in the maritime domain, collaboration to maintain a safe and sustainable maritime realm, and above all enhance interoperability between regional and extra-regional navies.

Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf was the chief guest at the ceremony. He said on the occasion that he welcomes the participants in the Aman exercise and these exercises are the foundation of lasting peace.
It should be noted that Pakistan Navy has a significant role in protecting Pakistan’s maritime borders and multinational exercises also help Pakistan Navy soldiers to learn martial arts from different countries while other countries benefit from Pakistan Navy’s experiences.
