Alleged terrorist killed, another injured in CTD Balochistan encounter

QUETTA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan has claimed to have killed an alleged terrorist in a gun battle on Saryab Road in the provincial capital on Monday.

CTD spokesperson said another suspected terrorist was injured in the battle. Both of the terrorists killed and injured in the encounter were affiliated with the banned outfit Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

According to the spokesperson, Nizamuddin Kurd was killed in the fight while Arsalan Shah sustained injuries afte they exchanged fire with the CTD team.

Officials also sezied 80 grenades, two pistols and rounds of bullets from the vehicle teh suspects were driving.
