Actress Maya Ali, who was last seen in Pehli Si Mohabbat, will now be seen in Shoaib Mansoor’s upcoming movie.
Shoaib Mansoor’s recent adventure titled ‘ABG’ (Asmaan Bolay Ga) stars Maya Ali and Emmad Irfani in the leading role. The film is reportedly based on Operation Swift Retort which occurred on 27th February 2019.

Maya Ali will be playing an Indian journalist while Emmad Irfani will play the hero of that day Squadron Leader Hassan Siddiqui. The film will reportedly release on 6th September 2022 for Defence Day.
Maya Ali is known for her roles in dramas and films respectively. She made her debut with a brief role in the telenovela Durr-e-Shehwar, and received praise for playing the titular characters in the television series Aik Nayee Cinderella and Aun Zara in 2012.

After starring as a rebellious wife in the thriller drama Zid (2014), Ali received critical acclaim for her role of Zuleikha in the romantic dramality Mera Naam Yousuf Hai (2015), Faarah Wali Khan in the ensemble family drama Diyar-e-Dil (2015) and a love-driven girl in the tragic romance Mann Mayal (2016).
In 2018, she made her debut by featuring as the female protagonist in the action comedy, Teefa in Trouble starring Ali Zafar and the 2019 romantic comedy, Parey Hut Love starring Sheheryar Munawar. Both films rank among the highest-grossing Pakistani films and the latter earned her two nominations at Lux. In 2021, She made her comeback on television after 5 years with ARY Digital’s romantic Pehli Si Muhabbat as Rakshi female protagonist opposite Sheheryar Munawar.
Irfani, on other hand, started as a model, and later in 2013, he started focusing on acting and since worked for many TV serials including Geo TV, ARY Digital, and Hum TV. In 2018 he launched his film career with a cameo role in his cousin Farjad Nabi’s box-office hit 7 Din Mohabbat In.
