Gerry’s dnata, a leading ground-handling services provider in Pakistan, announced on Friday that it had launched the country’s inaugural Women-Led Flight (WLF) operation.
This trailblazing initiative saw an all-women team proficiently handle the complete turnaround of a SriLankan Airlines A320 at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.
Launched ahead of International Women’s Day, the initiative marks a significant step toward breaking barriers, promoting workplace inclusion, and empowering women to assume roles traditionally dominated by men.

Gerry’s dnata emphasized that this effort accelerates action for gender equality in the workforce.
The all-female team expertly executed various tasks, including safely parking the aircraft upon arrival, connecting the aerobridge for passenger disembarkation, and ensuring prompt delivery of luggage to the lounge.
