Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi has finally got a release date. The film is set to hit screens next month on 25th February.
For this, Alia Bhatt turned to Instagram and shared her stunning photos gazing at the moon with a caption, “Dekho chand aaya … chand nazar aaya. Gangu bhi aa rahi hain .. 25th February Ko.”

The movie was earlier scheduled to release in July 2021 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is Alia Bhatt’s first movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
From the very start, Sanjay Leela Bansali has made it clear that his upcoming directorial ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, will be released on the big screen and not on the small screen.

Based on biographical crime-drama, Gangubai Kathiawadi traces the life of a simple girl named Gangubai from Kathiawad who became the most powerful, loved, and respected madams from Kamathipura during the 1960s.
