KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani singer Ali Azmat has tested positive for coronavirus, he revealed on Monday.
Sharing a video clip on Instagram, the Sayonee singer said “Lo jee result positive aa gaya. Dafa duur corona.”
“I have isolated myself after the result came back positive,” he added, seeking prayers for his recovery. The singer also urged his fans to stay home and stay safe amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sources said Azmat underwent a test for Covid-19 after experiencing symptoms of fever and a sore throat, which came back positive.

Ali Azmat Butt was born on April 20, 1970, in Havelin, Abbottabad District. He grew up in Garhi Shahu, Lahore, into a family of ethnic Kashmiri descent. His life is filled with a lot of struggles, dares, sacrifices, and rewards to those struggles.
